Fueling What Matters Most

"Gus and Kevin came out for an inspection because my daughter just got a home new to her and no one in the family had experience with propane heat or appliances. They were very conscientious and thoroughly explained the systems to us along with offering us some very helpful tips along the way. Great experience and their expertise and knowledge was apparent. We feel a lot more comfortable about how everything operates."

"I was in a pinch, and this team came through like champions! My account was established in 1 day and I had heating oil the next. Amazing service, don't waste time calling anyone else!"

"Hands down they have the best products. Diesel and the service is always great."

"Amazing customer service. It was the easiest place to call and get heating oil. I called and spoke with Nancy; I told her this was my first time owning a home with a furnace and I needed help with the process. She listed several options and I chose the one that worked best for us... she didn't try to hassle me or give me a used car salesman pitch like other local heating companies. She was understanding and incredibly easy going. Everyone should be more like Nancy especially in today's world when everything is expensive, kindness like that makes it easier to spend the money."

"The folks at Southern States have always been great. They are always kind and helpful on the phone and when they deliver. Ethan came out to check for a leak because our gas detector was going off. It was right at the end of the day and we live way out in the country so he was here after hours. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable about the propane and our appliances that use gas as well. Also he was nice to the dogs. Luckily we didn't have a leak. Thanks!"

"During one of the worst ice/snow storms in Kentucky history, these guys are out there making sure we have propane for heat. They have gone above and beyond driving on snowy roads and in bad conditions to provide Kentuckians with life saving heat. Thank you Josh. You did great!"

"Long line for propane and even though it was beyond hours they stuck around to fill tanks."

"I was blown away by the customer service and how quickly the guys at the Danville Store got our propane tank filled up when it unexpectedly got down to 0% while I was away. And they did all this one day before Thanksgiving at that! A huge shout out to Tim Nichols for helping us in our desperate time and for Neal who delivered it and was so beyond helpful and the nicest person! I truly can't even put into words how thankful I am for them helping so fast and getting us taken care of with smiles on their faces and in their voices the entire time! I also spoke with two others (a lady and a man) that were also helpful but I didn't catch their names. Just wanted you to know that they are SO SO appreciated and we will be back time and time again and shouting your name from the rooftops! Thanks again!"

"I just come here for the 50 cetane for my diesel truck...excellent place and price."

"Over the years, we've had an excellent experience with Jarrettsville Southern States gas/propane supplier. They are incredibly professional, with reasonable prices, and truly care about their customers. It's rare to find this level of customer service these days. Highly recommended to anyone in need of reliable gas or propane services!"
